Sleepless Nights
After 3 sleepless nights due to the heat it was a pleasant surprise to be woken by rain and thunder early this morning. Is it an English disease that we always complain when it's too hot then we complain when it rains all the time? Maybe I need to invest in an air conditioning unit but would that be a waste of money, this is England so realistically how many times would it get used...
My belly button is still a little bruised from where it had been clamped, I woke last night face down on it so I guess it cannot be that painful. I remember when I first got my nipple pierced, I was always so worried that I would roll over in my sleep or catch it on the sheets.
It is now 4.30pm, it is raining outside, I am hot and sweaty after a hard day at my salon so I think it is time for a shower, order an Indian or Chinese take-away (not yet decided) and sit down to watch a movie with a glass of wine.

Does it get hot enough in England to warrant A/C? It was 101°F here in Detroit recently and I ran the A/C quite a bit.
Yes it has been the past couple of weeks, its been averaging 34C on most days. Us Brits are not used to it !!
