My car had to go into the garage this week, nothing major just a service but a little costly at just over £200 (it needed a few things changing). It seems to annoy my fella more than it does me, why do men begrudge paying out £150-£200 on something that can save lifes like new tyres and breaks or in getting the vehicle checked over yet they are quite willing to pay double or triple this amount for a car stereo, set of new alloys or some ‘sex appeal’ body styling? I wonder if they would mond taking it to the garage more often if all the mechanics were like this one!!
