Happy New Year to all, friends, associates, customers, enemies and family. Yes I did say enemies as we gained a few of those during 2006 which although we thought it would harm us at first it really made us get our butts into gear and sort ourselves out, it made us stronger so I do owe those people a thank you. I am looking forward to 2007, I have some exciting things lined up and I am reducing the hours I work off the Internet in my bricks and mortar business which will allow me more time to spend developing new projects on the Internet. More about those at a later date though.

I had typed up a long list of fun things I like and dislike, just wishes for the New Year and wishes for things I wish could be left behind in 2006. I deleted them as I did not want them to be aimed at anyone in general, if the hat fits wear it? I might go with them later today, I shouldn’t worry what anyone else thinks and as everything seems so positive at the moment do I wish to introduce any negative attitudes?

This might be my last post for 2006, I have a few bits I need to look at so it depends how long they keep me occupied, I am out partying tonight so I shall need to get ready for that. I have a requested pair of panties on, the stipulation was for me to wear them 24 hours, party in them and ensure that they cross 2006/2007 the nearest you can get to panties worn for a year?

The year is closing so fast now, it doesn’t seem a week since I was looking forward to family and friends coming over for Christmas eve and here I am now looking forward to tomorrow as I have a new years eve party with friends and family..  Yesterday I took my Christmas decorations down, I know it is early but I cannot stand them being up too long after Christmas.

This morning I noticed a larger than normal flow of orders, did we have a January sale on that I didn’t know about? On checking the site statistics we have picked up a few more page one search term results on Google including ‘panty pics’ and ‘panty sex’. The site in fact had a record number of visits in December and we still have a day to go. The average daily visits for December stands at 2600 unique visits a day, not returning visits, page views or file requests, actual people landing on our doorstep (well not quite doorstep). Not much more to tell you about really, I am trying to help out with some research for my hubby’s new project in 2007 but now is not the time or place to go into that one. I did have a look at a holiday brochure, I want to go for the big one this year and go to Hawaii so I shall have to be good and put my persuading hat on!!

I have recently been following a blog called Unshroud by Annette who describes herself as an average suburban housewife. Annette’s blog reminds me very much of my own, a web mistress who enjoys sharing her daily finds and the odd image or two. I was first attracted to the erotic stories that Annette cared to share and her article on home made sex toys, I also noticed her site had lots of half naked images. When I took a closer look I realised that Annette belongs to a group of people who advertise as HNT (half nekked Thursday) spelt ‘Nekked’ on purpose. You’ve guessed it, they all get half naked on a Thursday and post pictures of themselves without giving too much away, what a cool idea.

Whilst researching some material late last night, I found a beautiful blog entitled ‘Appreciate Yourself’. It was written by an Indian girl named Anu who worked diligently to overcome the hardships that kidney failure had brought to her life. Her blog told her story of triumph over adversity, her mission was to blog things she appreciated in life rather than complain. Anu believed in positive energies and that the most positive energy came from appreciation. Sadly Anu died in a car crash on the 10th December. I know very little about this girl apart from what she blogged, I had already decided to go into 2007 much more positive and grateful for what I have and not what for what I don’t have. We all do far too much complaining don’t we?

Yes I could not resist any longer, I hit the sales today although I was very good and I managed to come back home with just a couple of nice tops and a dozen pairs of sexy thongs and 2 dozen bikini style panties which are more popular at the moment. I am wearing a UK order today and it will be in the post tomorrow morning and I wore a pair yesterday that went off this morning. I didn’t really want to wear any until the new year began but the back orders are still growing. I have had a nice day today, playing around on a webmaster forum where I have met a couple of new contacts, not customer contacts but a fellow webmistress and an adult web designer. I managed to pick-up a beautiful wicca wand made from Willow, I also managed to get hold of some Jade and a few other bits that I was after. I have lots of new plans for the new year and I am a firm believer in crystals and their powers (I know Jade is a resin but it is required for one of the spells). I intend to stay so focussed on myself, my family and my new projects and I will have the crystals to help me with a few things along the way, should be fun…

I avoided the sales today by visiting the local cinema and watching Night at the Museum with a nice box of popcorn, cold drink and sweets to munch and slurp through the film. On the way home it was a quick stop at the video shop as hubby wanted to buy a new game for the xbox 360 I brought for him at Christmas before a hot bath and rummage around the adult webmaster forums as I am considering pushing my adult webmaster career out further in 2007 to include a few adult related free sites.

I also did some window shopping on eBay, I say window shopping as I nearly purchased a crystal ball and wicca wand but thought better of it as they say you should be drawn towards one. I am hoping to visit a nearby wicca shop tomorrow to see if anything reaches out and grabs me. My friends think it is amusing and they already call me an old witch, it doesn’t help having long curly hair. I brought a couple of books on crystals and magic before Christmas on a recommendation (still reading them and they are great thanks for the advice) and hubby brought me lots of wonderfull Christmas presents which included some more reading material and crystals so I am well away.

Tomorrow is my last day off before going back to work, I do feel refreshed, I am looking forward to the new year and I am excited about some new projects but before anyone asks, Saucy Panties will remain my priority as I run it for enjoyment purposes. New Years resolutions will be the next thing I need to think about, do I make them yes and do I break them… Yes

Experts writing in the British Medical Journal want leaflets concerning weight and health issues to be handed out to all women purchasing size 16 and above clothing. Although I am a size 10 to a size 12 depending on where I shop I would not want to be the poor guy or girl responsible for handing this leaflet out to women. If this ever got the go ahead which I am sure it wouldn’t then surely the same should apply to women who are size 6 to size 8 as too skinny is just as un-healthy. I have to admit that ‘most‘ not all size 16 women I have met are overweight but they know this and it is their choice, if they want to loose weight then it is up to them. I know some guys like size 16 and above ladies as they have larger breasts and bottoms, each to their own I say. This report coincides with a statement from the United Nations who have just issued a stark warning: that death from excess has now overtaken that from deficiency.

So that is it for another year, well almost, I am not going back to work until the end of the week so I have today to relax and watch a few dvd’s, tomorrow to check out the sales and probably stock up on panties, Thursday to catch-up on anything that needs doing around the home and then back to work on Friday.

I do not get a lot of time where I can just sit in front of the television watching what is on, most of the time I am catching up on a few things that I have recorded on Sky Plus. Yesterday I decided that this was a good thing, why do so many people watch garbage like Eastenders and Coronation street, they are all doom and gloom programs and to show them twice in one day?

I hope you all had a great Christmas, mine was fantastic, I thought I had been a naughty girl this year but Santa didn’t think so looking at some of the fantastic gifts that I received. I was not going to update the blog today but changed my mind, a quick hello and best wishes to you all.

Merry Christmas to all our customers, our friends and loved ones. I shall be around over Christmas and I will have a quick look at the emails but I will not have time to reply to many as I intend to take some time out with family. I consider myself to be exceptionally lucky, in the past I have been in relationships that did not work and I have spent many a Christmas with someone I loved but was not in love with, one Christmas I even spent on my own which isn’t nice. This will be the 3rd Christmas I spend as a married lady, waking up to the man I love and opening presents together, even writing this is giving me a warm tingle.

Christmas is always a time to reflect on what you have, what you don’t have and what you will do better in the year ahead. In general 2006 has been very kind to me, Saucypanties which is only a small part of my life in the scheme of things caused me my only grief when a few people jumped on the accusation bandwagon calling us cheats and liars because I own a few panty domain names and because my husband who is also an adult webmaster leant a hand here and there in promotion. They will say they were doing it for the community, they will ignore some facts and twist others and hide behind all kinds of reasons but if they dig deep and are honest with themselves they will know why they really did it. I quite expect the trend to continue into 2007 or until they get bored. The truth is they gave it their best shot to destroy us, we are still here, we are still going strong and we have lots of ideas for 2007 so bring it on.
