Hello panty world, sorry updates have been slow but I have been working like a devil on tweaks and new web sites. First off anyone placing an order will see that our secure order form is throwing up an error message, you can still place an order but the certificate has expired. Now onto my pet love and hate which is Google. For the best part of 12 months probably longer SaucyPanties was sitting pretty for search terms that were all very targeted, used panties, worn panties, dirty panties, the list goes on and you will know what I mean. A couple of months back Google dumped us and we noticed a small drop in visits from around 2,000 unique visits a day to 1,600 a day.

I know that it is because we are being penalised in one form or another and I have hopefully found the answer. It is all to do with organic linking and backlinks (we have 1309 links to us). Organic linking is the term given for having the right amount of you link to me and I link to you links combined with non reciprocal links. It is not often I open the front page of Saucy Panties up for link exchanges however, I am looking for five new link partners, nothing fancy just I link to you and you link to me straight forward reciprocal links but it must be from a panty related site or blogs front page, not a links page. I can have the new links online tonight so if you are interested let me know.

I have booked a holiday for late August early September and apart from that I am very happy but in a quiet plod along way. I noticed the United States dollar is even weaker against the British pound breaking the $2 to £1 barrier, good if you are importing to the UK or planning a holiday in the Sates but not so good if you have regular customers and you export, it makes your product so much more expensive to them. I remember when I started selling my panties to overseas customers, the exchange rate was somewhere around $1.75 to the £1.00. This meant a pair of £20.00 panties would cost $35.00 but now it has increased to $40.00 and I did hear analysts predicting it is going to get worse. Probably a good job that I have a lot of regular UK customers because I know for some price is an issue and ‘you get what you pay for’ does have a cut off point.

I have been busy doing some web site tidying today, I also managed to take the dogs out and not only keep them dry but bring them back clean, that was a pleasant change. I watched the end of the Grand Prix, (isn’t it marvelous how a young Brit can stimulate interest in sport) I have never really been a motor racing fan before the second race into this season. Just a quick morning update, I had a complaint this morning, from a gentleman who said he has been waiting for a reply for three days, he sent an email asking how much is it for your used panties. I thought I would pop on here and update you all on how it works, I don’t know how other panty girls do it but this is my way. I access the email and I usually have 100+ every morning. Half at least are spam then the rest are a mixture between panty customers, possible customers, special requests and personal emails. I scan over them deleting the spam first and then I usually see if there is an absolute urgent one that needs replying to. After this I crack on with whatever requires doing that day, I also have my own bricks and mortar business so it might mean leaving the house at 8.30am and returning at 8.00pm you just don’t know.

Sometimes email does not get touched again until the following day, this does have a snowball effect at times but I always answer customers with concerns or that have placed an order and personal emails first. Personal emails can also mean regular customers who I have got to know over the years or even other sellers. When these have been caught up I then answer the less urgent ones, I am sorry if this offends but less urgent also means those asking how much for used panties or where can I buy them. If you cannot be bothered to look around the site for 5 minutes then you can wait a day or sometimes two for an email reply. My final category of replies goes out to those asking for freebies, a picture first so that I can see if I would like to buy them. Again there are panty pictures on the site and I answer those emails with the same reply that I would expect to get if I went into a restaurant and asked to eat the meal first but I am only going to pay if I like what I taste.
