It is all down hill for me now, a week today I am flying out to Cyprus for a two week holiday and I cannot wait. Two weeks back I fell in love with a lovebird at the local pet store (I was there buying supplies for my rabbit). I don’t believe in buying pets on impulse so I came away and did a little research. Without boring you on my findings I decided to go for two baby ones from a breeder instead… It made sense as part of me says birds should be loose and not in a cage (and captive bred babies know no difference) and the one in the pet store was two years old, used to being in an avery and from what I have read, it would have been very hard to tame it. I should really be working now but I have popped home for some lunch to check emails and write a quick post. Probably the best weather we have had in my part of the country for nearly 2 months and I was stuck indoors today, typical but at least I have a two week break booked at the end of the month to Cyprus. Orders are up-to-date with just a couple of outstanding ones that will be worn over the next 5 days. I just need to keep on top of everything as the mad rush of things to do before I go usually leaves me needing 2–3 days at the start of the hols to recover although this time I am away for two weeks but I am taking three weeks off!! You can do that when you are the boss although saying that behind the scenes events are never ending.

I am going to take a nice relaxing bath now, probably watch my recording of Heroes which in my opinion is the best thing on TV since Lost and 24. I have watched season 3 of lost yet, my Sky Plus started playing-up and didn’t record half of the episodes so I shall wait for it to be released on DVD. I am terrible when it comes to keeping up with television, I have only just finished season one of 24!!

It is so strange, when you get in the habit of updating your blog you find it easy to pop on every day and write something, even if it is just a few lines. When you have left it for several days without an update you feel that when you eventually do manage to write something it had better be special and worthy, a simple pop on and say “Hello I am still alive” just isn’t enough. I have been waiting for some amazing news, something fantastic to happen and share that would excuse my absence but unfortunately no ground breaking earth shattering news has come my way. So here I am breaking the silence with a simple “Hello I am still alive” message for you all…. Now that is out the way hopefully the habit of logging on more often and writing a few lines will return…
