What is it with these Turkish hackers or website de-facers? Yesterday we found that 4 of our blogs had been de-faced by these idiots. It was an eye opener for both of us and one that has made me look at web security much more closely. It seems that they find exploits in Wordpress to inject their filth, to be quite honest I wonder why we bother with Wordpress.

The hosting company told us that we should always update to the latest version of wordpress. Sure between myself and my hubby with have over 20 adult related blogs, last week alone Wordpress released version 2.5 and just TWO days later out came 2.5.1. So far over 3 million websites have been de-faced by “1923 Turk Grup” search google yourself and see just how many sites they have ruined.

With this in mind you will notice a few changes to my blog, I need to batten down the hatches and at least make it harder for these idiots. On a lighter note and because we are getting very short of images and as I promised ‘yonks’ ago, Tiffany has sent me a few new images to post, update shortly folks…

I received an order on December 26^th Boxing day, yes I like to take some time off at Christmas so I do not jump to reply to every email received. The order was placed by Adam13 but he requested to mail cash in the post, so I politely replied as follows:

well i do apologize for this but because you were taking a few days to reply i spent my money on something else and now i dont get payed for another month and that goes to bills so can i cancel my order please again i do apologize although if your in the spirit maybe we could work something out for free??? as a christmas gift perhaps?

I will have to remember this one, next time I go into a store I will tell them I have spent all my money so in the spirit of Christmas can I have them for free…

A study has been carried out for the government on the effect immigrants have on the uk. Some 574,000 migrants came to settle in Britain in the 12 months to June 2006, said the study. The government with this report have finally admitted that immigrants are placing a huge strain on public services. Crime is up, schools are struggling to cope with Eastern European children, community tensions are rising, health services are coming under enormous pressure and house prices are being driven up, the Government said.

Fuck me, someone somewhere was paid a lot of money to put this report together, I could have told you that for nothing Mr Brown, Blair or whoever ordered it.. I could have told you that in my home town all these problems have been going on for months because of allowing too many immigrants into the country and I dare say so could a lot more have told you this. Why it takes a special report and a bundle of cash to state the obvious is beyond me…

Why don’t things last anymore like they used to? I noticed a few days back that my dishwasher was not cleaning as it should do and today everything has come out just as it went in, well nearly. I tried again, I topped up the rinse aid and salt dispenser but still no joy. I am afraid it is going to have to be a new one, I think mine has seen the ghost despite being only 5 years old.

Okay I could get a repair man but by the time he has charged me £100 to prolong its life a little longer is it worth it? He did also warn me that there was not much he could do if it was the sensors playing up… So it will be my favourite price comparison people today looking for a bargain, at least it will give me an excuse to upgrade to an ‘A’ energy efficient one, even more energy efficient if I wash up by hand I hear you say

Just a quick morning update, I had a complaint this morning, from a gentleman who said he has been waiting for a reply for three days, he sent an email asking how much is it for your used panties. He contacted me at 11.00pm on Thursday night. The truth is I would not have received or read the email until the following morning (yesterday) and as it is Saturday at 9.15am now it has been just 24 hours since I first read the email. This sort of thing would usually not bother me but I have just received a fourth email today asking exactly the same question. How much do your worn panties cost or how can I buy your panties? This does frustrate me as all over the site (on every page in fact) there are big links reading Purchase Panties. I started to wonder if the site was down or links not working but everything seems fine…

I thought I would pop on here and update you all on how it works, I don’t know how other panty girls do it but this is my way. I access the email and I usually have 100+ every morning. Half at least are spam then the rest are a mixture between panty customers, possible customers, special requests and personal emails. I scan over them deleting the spam first and then I usually see if there is an absolute urgent one that needs replying to. After this I crack on with whatever requires doing that day, I also have my own bricks and mortar business so it might mean leaving the house at 8.30am and returning at 8.00pm you just don’t know.

Sometimes email does not get touched again until the following day, this does have a snowball effect at times but I always answer customers with concerns or that have placed an order and personal emails first. Personal emails can also mean regular customers who I have got to know over the years or even other sellers. When these have been caught up I then answer the less urgent ones, I am sorry if this offends but less urgent also means those asking how much for used panties or where can I buy them. If you cannot be bothered to look around the site for 5 minutes then you can wait a day or sometimes two for an email reply. My final category of replies goes out to those asking for freebies, a picture first so that I can see if I would like to buy them. Again there are panty pictures on the site and I answer those emails with the same reply that I would expect to get if I went into a restaurant and asked to eat the meal first but I am only going to pay if I like what I taste.

I am having problems once again with not being able to publish more than one line of text at the moment. I am trying to work out why and if it is a certain character causing the problem, if you are reading this then either the problem has gone away again as quickly as it arrived or there is a character or series of that I am using that Wordpress or my SQL does not like?

*Edit* I think it might be that either this theme or something in the MySQL data base does not like it when I try to use inverted commas, the symbol on a UK keyboard above the number 2 when using shift…

Once again I am not sure how big a post this is going to turn out, I have not heard from my hosts regarding the problem, I can see a complete re-install of Wordpress later today or tomorrow, that should be fun I think not so a full back-up is on my list of things to do. I am going to hit the publish button now as I have no idea if this will post or fail, fingers crossed.

I have just tried to make another post, it was quite a long one and it was greeted by a failed message, I am hoping that this post makes it in. My only answer at the moment is to keep making the same post over and over again adding a few lines of text each time and see where the cut off point is, where does the blog throw a wobbly…

I am still around, I am having serious problems posting to my blog, it is only allowing me to make short posts at the moment and the host service have so far not been very helpful in sorting out why so I guess it is down to me to sort out on my own *sigh*

Richard was going through the Panty Draw website today removing all dead links, non reciprocal links and cheats. He found 2 removed links, one moved link to a links page (which is not acceptable) and 5 links which were dead or directed to a site that had obviously closed and someone non panty related had obviously brought and changed around. One panty link directed to a site that had material that is on its way to being banned due to law changes about what is considered consensual sex and painful. I am not going to even print on my blog what it was not because I am shocked but because I do not want a black list against me as the search engines start their clampdown.

Now there are panty sites out there that are damaging themselves, links to sites that closed long ago like Sharona Lee and links to some of these ‘undesirable’ neighbourhoods. Not keeping your own links in order damages your search engine ranking and it damages sites that link to you. Say you are linking to a site that the search engines frown upon and you link to another site that is dead or even a couple like some of you are. The search engines mark you down for this and you become a site that has a little black mark against you. This is fair because you should be keeping your links in order, what is not fair is that anyone linking to you is then also marked down slightly because the search engines see the sites linking to you as a site linking to a bad apple, you being the bad apple.

Why do you think that searching for the four most common panty search terms, used, wet, worn and dirty only 3-4 sites always appear on page one? It is because they keep their house in order. So this is a rant really for all web owners to please keep their outgoing links in order and a message from Panty Draw that NO warnings were sent out, if you removed the link then you have been removed.

I have had a very enjoyable day for the best part of it. I did have a strange entry on my blog regarding my ‘Princess’ shooting herself in the foot comment which I slightly regret now as I seem to have set off a chain reaction amongst a few that was not intended. I promised myself that 2007 would not be a repeat of the battles I went through with other sellers last year. However, I have been selling panties online since 1999, I have lots of close customers, I have some business friends and I am a wise old bitch. IF anyone is attempting to play me off against another seller it isn’t going to work.

I have received a couple of emails asking me ‘which side I am on?’…. Which side.. wtf??… Please do not make me laugh, I batted alone for the best part of 2006 and I do not do ‘taking sides’. Some had reasons for ‘assuming’ the worst of me last year and others jumped on the bashing band wagon in an attempt to make up ground on the success of Saucy Panties, yes some trumpet blowing on my part but what other reason can there be?

I can see why ’some’ assumed the worst, I am not saying it is right, I am saying I can see why… Others who maybe knew me better jumped on board and started bashing, those will never be forgiven. What is also very strange is an email comment I received, about a seller who stuck-up for me when myself and Anna were at war with each other. Bells started ringing, something did not match up???? Ahh that was it, this seller is very new and she wasn’t even selling her used panties when myself and Anna kicked off, how strange that she should stick up for me??

This is a warning to other sellers, don’t play games with me, I stood up last year and went through hell where accusations were concerned. I am still here, I am still selling strong, I said last year I will be here next year and the year after and ask yourself why… So rather than answer the emails and because I have just had to delete another half dozen comments awaiting moderation a simple pointers…

1) I currently have no problem with Anna what went on between us during 2006 has passed.
2) I am not on anyones side in a dispute that does not involve me.
3) Leaving rude comments regarding others will always get deleted.

Just a mid-week gripe from me, I am not sure if it is only the case in my home town or if it is common throughout the UK but are all lollipop ladies overweight and slow? On my regular route to work, I have to travel past a school where one of these overweight lollipop ladies patrols. The queue of traffic is quite extensive but it is all down to the slow speed of this large yellow barrel!! She waddles into the middle of the road and before she has even signalled for the traffic to stop the parents and their children have already crossed to the other side. The traffic still cannot move until this horrible yellow blob has moved out of the way but she does it in such an unbelievably slow pace that by the time she has reached the kerbside another parent is there waiting to cross.

Yesterday I decided to take another route that I haven’t used in some time. To my horror I thought the overweight, slow and tedious lollipop lady had been given a new crossing to patrol on the very same morning I had changed routes but no… It was a different lollipop lady, just as large as the other but my god; she was even slower than the other one. I have nothing against large women but what I do object to are the large ones who are lazy and slow with it.

On the radio the other day, they were discussing how we are all becoming far too wasteful. We would rather throw away a toaster, a kettle or an Iron instead of getting them repaired. They were urging Joe public to stop harming the planet by going out and buying new goods, instead start getting them repaired. I am a believer in if it breaks get a new one, I am wasteful but I thought okay I will keep this in mind next time something stops working as it should do. This led me to another thought, the DVD player in the garage that no longer works but it still looks like new. I will take it to the repair shop in town and see how much it will cost to fix. Then when it has been fixed I have no use for it so I shall take it to the local charity shop.

I called into the repair shop with the player under my arm, explained to the man what the problem was, first he smiled and then he kindly informed me that he charges £15.00 per hour for a diagnostic check, minimum charge 1 hour parts on top. He then told me not to waste my money and get along to Asda they were selling DVD players for £9.00. I could not believe my ears, okay the quality of the player is probably crap but £9.00 surely he was wrong? With a little research I found out that Asda sold their entire stock of 82,000 DVD players at £9.00 each. On telling this to my sister-in-law she then told me how when she was shopping at Tesco she had seen Irons for sale at just £4.00 each. Maybe if the government wants us to start saving the planet the first step shouldn’t be on educating us so much in recycling but to clamp down on the superstores importing cheap electrical goods, how much do you think the factory workers are getting in these sweat shops?

A few site tweaks today, I am ensuring that all email sent to me is through Nate Mail, this ensures that bots do not harvest my email address from forms and the site. My Askimet spam filter is working very well at the moment and just a reminder all blog entries are moderated. Over the past week I have seen an increasing amount of hate entries, not hate towards myself but hate towards others. I am deleting these as unless what you are saying can be proven (and I need to see the proof) then it really isn’t worth starting off 2007 on such negative grounds. For the person pretending to be another seller leaving a blog entry on here last night, I have the other sellers IP address and yours now… Not only are they different, you live the other side of the world so behave or I will have to pass your details on to your ISP.

Have you ever noticed that when one lorry overtakes another, it does so at what must only be 1mph quicker than the vehicle it is passing. No wonder British roads are congested. Personally if one lorry cannot overtake another in under a minute then it shouldn’t be allowed. I timed one today, 3 minutes 20 seconds from the moment it pulled out in front of me to the moment it had managed to overtake the other lorry on the inside lane.
